btw, I think there is another place also, but I can't look right now
since I have a font that crashes Fontforge on startup. Have to go fix
that, no rest for the wicked ...

The X Server clained the font existed, but when I asked for it,
I got this error instead:

X Error of failed request: BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)

  Serial number of failed request:  4122
  Failed resource ID:  5c000c8
Abort

Seems like Fontforge should just ignore a bad font but it's something
that needs fixing anyhow so I won't bitch :)
