purpose of "fontforge -dry"

Can you tell me what the "-dry" command-line option to FontForge is supposed to do? I found this in the code; it seems to set a flag that is passed into the native-script interpreter (only - not Python) and causes it to disable some, though not all, of its functions. The only mention of it I can find in documentation is this Changelog entry from 2005: Werner suggests a --dry <scriptfile> argument which does syntax checking without actually executing the script. I think it is trivial. -- Matthew Skala [email protected] People before principles. http://ansuz.sooke.bc.ca/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Subversion Kills Productivity.
