FYI ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: "Behdad Esfahbod" <[email protected]> Date: 1 Jun 2015 6:40 pm Subject: [fonttools] Introducing compreffor, a CFF subroutinizer To: "fonttools" <[email protected]> Cc: Hi, As promised at ATypI and other places, I just pushed compreffor to our public github: https://github.com/googlei18n/compreffor Compreffor is a CFF subroutinizer that my intern Sam Fishman wrote last Summer, based on suffix-array and market-equilibrium ideas I had. It turned out to work pretty well, though I haven't had time to play with it much myself. There's a pure Python and a C++ implementation, with expected performance differences. See: https://github.com/googlei18n/compreffor/blob/master/compreffor/__init__.py#L16 It's pretty rough around the ages, but works. Send the pull-requests our way!
