GNU Unifont 8.0.01 was released on 28 June 2015. This version incorporates changes to the Unicode 8.0 Basic Multilingual Plane, retaining complete BMP coverage. The Unicode Consortium released the Unicode 8.0.0 code pages on 17 June 2015. This version of GNU Unifont also adds about 1000 newly-drawn glyphs to the Unicode Supplemental Multilingual Plane. This new version is available for download at ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/unifont/unifont-8.0.01/ For a complete description of changes, consult the ChangeLog file in the source tarball. Have fun!
