Re: [Feature Request] Display contour order & re-order contours

I've indeed been thinking about how best to begin moving toward variable
font support, and tools like this are good starting points. I'm not sure
that a number next to the contour is sufficiently unambiguous for
complicated shapes. We might offer that as an option but also show a path
number in the point info dialog box.

I've been buried with work, so I'm a bit behind on more immediate FontForge
problems (including one of yours), and feature work may not resume for a
month or so.
