I don't think what you're proposing affects the python scripting interface,
but if it does, then I'm 100% against it ;-) If it doesn't affect it, then
I can only say it doesn't affect my work, so go ahead and remove it! Can't
speak for others, though.

What was the "collab" feature intended to do?
