For those who are interested in the discussion preceding this RFC, see this
GitHub issue <https://github.com/fontforge/fontforge/issues/3512>.

Are there really zero people on these lists who use collab? As a matter of
policy, we don't pull rugs out from under people, but, if there are no
people on this rug, this becomes a very easy call.
