If you look at the attached image you can see that both the inner and
outer curve have the same direction.  For correct rendering they must
have opposite directions.

So yes, the font is incorrect.  Whatever tool was used to trace (at
least it looks like that) the original font and to convert it to a
CFF, it has a flaw.
