Just FYI, there was an opportunity at the last LinuxCon Europe 2015 (this past week) to give a
presentation on D-Bus.

The slides with accompanying materials can now be found at
<http://wi.wu.ac.at/rgf/rexx/misc/lce2015/>, the presentation's abstract can be found here:
<http://lceeu2015.sched.org/event/ec0733806528f1436d96f22cf651f504?iframe=yes&w=i:100;&sidebar=yes&bg=no>
or from <http://lceeu2015.sched.org/>.

The presentation introduces the D-Bus concepts, briefly characterizes the ooRexx language (the tilde
'~' is a message operator, '::' lead in directives that the interpreter carries out before
interpreting the program starting in the first line) and gives self-contained, short nutshell
examples for a D-Bus client, a D-Bus signal listener, and a D-Bus service with the accompanying client.

The aim has been to make it as easy as possible on programmers to use D-Bus.
