I think gcc may be being over-zealous here: the indentation is not
misleading when tab has its Correct™ value of 8 spaces. However, this
seems a reasonable excuse to untabify that particular bit of code, and
at least it's an isolated change.

The word is indentation, not indention. I'll fix that when I commit this.
