openrc as an activation backend.

hello!

i am a new maintainer for the openrc init system/service manager, and
working on user services for openrc[1][2], do i'd like to gather some
opinions.

currently, dbus provides two methods for service activation, traditional
(so fork+exec if i'm reading the code right), and via systemd.

while personally i'm not a fan of automatic activation of services, i do
see it's a mechanism many things rely on (notification daemons, xdg
portals, for example), so having those be managed as hotplugged openrc
services, would be a benefit for users of openrc-based distros.

my question is, after user services are implemented, would there be any
interest in patches allowing the usage of openrc as a backend for this
activation?
