Depends on what's exactly in that Mesa bug fix release (I'd like to see
a patch attached to bugzilla that I can walk throught the changes).
AFAIK the normal process should be something like "... file bugzilla
bug, attach patch, land on trunk, request approval for X11R6.8.x stable
branch...".
To be honestly I can't really test here any DRI stuff as I am doing my
main work on Solaris/SPARC and the Linux-related stuff in a VMware VM so
we would need someone else to verify that the changes doesn't break
something.
