There are a number of useful fixes in Mesa's 6.2 branch that would be
quite helpful to get into xorg 6.8.2. Mesa 6.2 is just a bugfix release
to 6.1.

If someone's willing and able to do the merge, I think we should go for
it. And it sounds like Adam Jackson may be.

http://www.mesa3d.org/ has a listing of a few of the fixes on the front
page. There are also numerous fixes to the DRI drivers, which aren't yet
included in the Mesa release tarball but are in the CVS. For example,
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1513 -- "OpenGL
applications cause Xorg 6.8.1 to hardlock when using Rage128 DRM."

Thanks,
Donnie
