Originally was going to show differences to request again a way to hijack signals, considering the new following thread mentions "hack to monitor the socket/file descriptor", but attempted using SYNC on the system that allows SYNC to be used. Either I truly screwed up or SYNC has a problem? The SYNC does provide non-jerking of resizing, but content drawing can now blink as if not double buffered and configure must give some new type of data such that resizing will place content start outside window (not in all cases). So ignore this thread, consider it closed. I will find a way to beat the system :) Thanks for not being too bothered by my interruption, Steve
