xtrace

Because it was mentioned last month, xtrace, I proceeded to track an 
error code 3 that reared its head on odd occasions. Decided to try it. 
Was directing me to limit search but came up with major problem. On my 
development platform xtrace was what appears to be a libc' version. 
Found nothing under Xorg. Found another xtrace, and another that looks 
like the one I need? It's in all sorts of flavors, so does anyone know 
where the source code, git, website, a tar file can be safely, securely 
downloaded the version like debain's xtrace?
 Turns out to be problem was you don't set window's cursor back to NULL 
on 'leave' of window.
