I agree that it's easier to search news, but, um, we're not Sourceforge.
And when we move our lists to lists.freedesktop.org, you could just do
something like 'gg: xtrans listening sockets
site:lists.freedesktop.org'.

It's not mine to be adding the list back when someone went to the effort
of requesting removal: I'll talk to him in private about it.
