It can be done with anyone who has write access to the CVS repository, so 
anyone who can commit at all.  Feel free to use your fd.o account to do 
this.  Mike graciously keeps a mirror of XFree86 to make this really easy.

There's no need -- the repository directories themselves don't contain any 
of that information.  And, as this is not a new project, only a new 
module, the project meta data is already in place.  In many ways, this is 
easier than importing a new module.

Please do, but please do them in fd.o CVS so that I don't have to attempt 
to remember who's doing what.  My brain is struggling this month...
