I have the same problem.  It was fine until i updgraded to FC2-test2 (i
was on test1 before).

When i run it though gdb it shows that its segfaulting on some assembly
code in vm86.c if that helps anyone.

from gdb:

nothing should depend on XFree86 AFAIK...
I had a similar problem with RH9, and eventually something in CVS was
fixed and all was fine.

i noticed that there is now a autogen.sh in the xcompmgr dir... run it the
same as you did with other parts of the FD.o XServer:
./autogen.sh --prefix=/opt/fdo

same here... just wish there was HW accel for my nvidia card... hopefully
xizzle will be useable in the near future.
