What about kernel 2.6

Hi Folks,

I'm really interested in XServer developement. It's such great
news that after all this time you're trying hard to use new
technology.

As I am always checking out the new kernel features
I would love to use this soft on kernel 2.6.x
but it completely fails to start.

For example Xvesa or Xnvidia are giving me segfaults
every time I start them. The only thing working is
framebuffer. But hey, that's not the speed I'd like to have :)

Is anyone using xserver with a kernel 2.5 or even 2.6 ?
Any help would be great..
