more errors.... (i must have a bad config ;)

trying to run Xvesa - sudo ./Xvesa :1 & xterm - display :1

1. it can't find the libraries in /path/to/fdo/lib even after exporting 
LD_LIBRARY_PATH
for a temp. quick fix i copied the libs to /usr/lib

2. Server error:
_X11TransOpen: Unable to find transport for local
xterm Xt error: Can't open display: :1

Cannot establish any listening sockets - Make sure an X server isn't already 
running

i'm new to X errors, so i can't really figure this out...
