CCE/CP requires the DRM, or something providing the same services as the DRM does. I'm working on that, through implementing the DRI for kdrive, with the first step being a non-GLX but DRM-using ati driver. I was working on a DRM-using r128 driver, but now that there's "ati," I'll try to merge it to ati and actually get it working (I realized what was probably a bug this morning, now to go check...) Also on the list is figuring out how to do xv using the 3d engine (rather than overlays).
