Greetings; I'm having a problem with severe screen contamination when recovering from a blanked state. I must close a terminal window while running blind, or some other way to force a total screen refresh. The video card is a Diamond Viper 330, a riva128 equipt card but with only 4 megs of memory. That boggles my mind right there, but I inherited the box... Someone on the fedora-test-list mentioned that it might be related to APM in the kernel shutting down the video memory, or that it might be something miss-configured in the XF86Config (or whatever its called now) file. Can anyone shine a wee bit of light on this for me? -- Cheers, Gene "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
