It should do, afaik X will compile no problem with recent uclibc's.

Without a framebuffer you'll need an xserver for whatever graphics
chipset your using.

It should be no worse than x-compiling anything else, though you'll
probably have to hack the pkg-config .pc files a little ( or patch
pkg-config )
