There's nothing inherently wrong with background "None" windows.  One
just would like to be able to say which clients can use them.  For
example, "/bin/ls" would be a prime candidate for having its background
"None" create window request denied.

BTW, I put in a request to attend the upcoming X developer's meeting in
Cambridge.
