We have identified an issue in FreeRADIUS version 3.2.7 where a segmentation fault occurs when performing EAP-FAST authentication after modifying only the pac_opaque_key.

Steps to reproduce:
・Perform EAP-FAST authentication successfully.
・Stop FreeRADIUS and modify only the pac_opaque_key.
・Attempt EAP-FAST authentication again with the same user.
・FreeRADIUS crashes due to a segmentation fault.

Cause:
We have confirmed that the EVP_DecryptFinal_ex function returns either 1 or 0, but the return value is being checked using a condition that evaluates whether it is less than 0. This leads to a segmentation fault.

Resolution:

Our investigation revealed that the issue can be avoided by applying the following modification:
