What version of Windows? A computer monitor or an arcade monitor? What
is the problem you're having? Possibly your earlier posts included that
information, but if they didn't you might want to try one more time with
a few more details.
 
I'm running Linux with a Matrox card, so haven't paid much attention to
the posts and might not be able to offer much help-I have run
advmenu/advmame under WinXP with a GeForce FX, but only to test
configurations from the comfort of my desk and I never bothered to
set-up anything other than SDL mode. This mailing list is read by a lot
of extremely knowledgeable and helpful people who are usually very
responsive; I'm sorry that hasn't been your experience. Please give it
another shot.
 
An entire .rc file doesn't tend to migrate well from one set-up to
another, but with some more information you might be able to get the
correct portion of an .rc file from someone [if that's really the
issue].I think most of us who swear by Advance MAME are pathological
perfectionists, no one else would care enough to need to be able to
configure every little minutia or to spend hours getting everything just
right. At the same time, I think we mostly have areas of our .rc files
that are still on our to-do lists and don't meet our own standards; so a
"send me your .rc file" request doesn't usually get a lot of takers.or,
maybe I'm just projecting my own neurosis.
