Hello, I am not sure if you got a answer to why you can not get your customizing .rc to be picked up. If you place them in the arcade directory and then create the CD. On startup it looks in that directory for advcd.rc, advcd.sh, advmame.rc, advmess.rc, and advmenu.rc. I would make a copy of all of them and customize the ones you need. If you have any other problems, let me know.
