I'm not sure exactly what you're trying to do, but have you been through the input configuration options? http://advancemame.sourceforge.net/doc-advmame.html#8.9 You can pretty much map anything to anything. -----Original Message----- From: advancemame-users-admin-5NWGOfrQmneRv+LV9MX5uipxlwaOVQ5f@public.gmane.org [mailto:advancemame-users-admin-5NWGOfrQmneRv+LV9MX5uipxlwaOVQ5f@public.gmane.org] On Behalf Of Robert Chambers Sent: Tuesday, November 23, 2004 11:59 AM To: advancemame-users-5NWGOfrQmneRv+LV9MX5uipxlwaOVQ5f@public.gmane.org Subject: [advancemame-users] Advmame support for new mame input options? Apparently advmame doesn't yet fully support the new mame input options. I use a ps2 dual shock controller to play tempest and in order to get it to work with mame version .86 or later I have to specify '-dial joystick' on the command line (I think I could also set dial=joystick in mame.ini) and set the analog input to N/A using the ingame user input config. There doesn't seem to be any way to do the same kind of thing using advmame.
