Neo-Geo AOF - it doesn't detect unzipped roms

I'm trying to run Neo-Geo AOF with unzipped romset but AdvanceMAME refuses to work, saying that the ROMs aren't there. But if I pack my romset into a .zip file (aof.zip) and run, AdvMAME detects it and run. Is there any way to do AdvMAME to detect the unzipped Neo-Geo AOF ROMs aswell?? I've also reported it as a bug in the official Advance Projects Bug reports forum. Please confirm.
