I am having trouble using the event mouse in linux. I was using the raw mouse but it acted up occassionaly so I was told to try event. I am using advmame 87 and gentoo linux 2.6.5 I have the event interface in the kernel and have 3 mice in /dev/input/ (event0, event1, event2) My user has permissions on these and when I cat /dev/input/event0 it is working. However when I: advm -device_mouse event I get the error: Unable to initialize the mouse driver. The errors are: event: No mouse found. What am I missing here?? ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
