Dear users:

After a lot of researh, I found the bug with Riva (NVidia) linux framebuffer
support. At the contrib/mame/fb advancedmame folder, you can find a lot of
diff patches. Some of them are for rivafb and apply only for rivafb source
code at version 0.9.4 (kernel 2.4.22) . So, the Mandrakelinux 10.0 official
distribution have the rivafb source code at version 0.9.5 and the kernel
version is an 2.6.8. After taking a look at these different files, I found
that the 0.9.5 source code don´t have the same list of supported hardware,
and many other things that the 0.9.4c version (after applying the
advancemame patch) have. So, I would like to patch my Riva framebuffer
source code (0.9.5) to use this module with my kernel, but i didn´t
understand the diff file. I think it´s can be easy to read the differences
and apply to my kernel, but I need some help.

So, after a lot of work with it, I need some help to finish this episode!
Andrea, can you help me? I will write an framebuffer doc file for
advancemame and I´ll add this patch to advancemame after complete the job.

Thanks to everyone. Merry xmas and happy new year!
