advmame w/ ega arcade monitor

Help guys.  I'm at wits end here.  I'm sure most of my problem is my lack of understanding of the adv suite of tools, but one thing is for sure --- I need some help.  I have a NFL Blitz 99 cab with 33" WG EGA monitor that I was trying to MAME.  I currently have a Blade T64 3dForce G-32 video card that I using to run advcfg.  WG told me that my monitor uses h-freg of 24.9K and v-freq of 47-63 - so I'm selecting EGA and using 5-90 for the pclock, 47-63 for vertical, and found that 25.06 produces the most readable text.  I've probably tried all possible horz freqs from 24.85 to 25.1.  I was sure that the monitor was bad, so I purchased the NFL Blitz board set, set output to 512x384 @25k and presto --- perfect picture.  One thing that troubles me is that even though I use v-freq of 47-63, the crosshair menu of advcfg shows 200.x.  The text is fuzzy, the cross hairs are no centered, am not ab

 perform in order to run advmame on my hardware?
