Hi guys,

first off all, thanks for all the people in mail list.
Best thanks to Andrea Mazzoleni ( italia people love MAME :) )

I'm trying to build my 3° cabinet.
The first one is DOS based.
The second one is AdvanceCD based ( Old one )
Now i'm building the third one and i'm using the AdvanceCD.

My cabinet is a Matrox G200 AGP with a Hantarex 9000 monitor.

For the first step, i have installed a FreeDOS in a HD to prepare the monitor
configuration.... All is ok and it work fine!

After this i do the process to rebuild AdvanceCD with my Monitor
configuration....
I have changed the advancemenu and advancemame config...
make app
make iso
burning

The first time i test my Personal AdvanceCD it doesent work!
It stop at booting process.

In the troubleshotting process i make a manual difference from my second
Cabinet and the third.

The difference is this line:

device_video_modeline generate 8.19 384 416 456 520 241 244 247 263 -hsync
-vsync

Then i decide to add this line to the new configuration!
It work fine ! :)

Now, i wont to understand why advmenu.rc need this line.
[Documentation]
[Define a video modeline. The modeline format is compatible with the format
used by the Linux SVGALIB library and by the XFree Window system.]

But i'm using :

device_video fb

Other think.....
how to change the the number in:
device_video_modeline

There is a program that do this? Like advv or advcfg?

For the complete config file, see the link at the right on:

thanks in advance.
