Re: CHD files unplayable

Upgrading your video card would do nothing, as MAME does not make use of 
any 3D hardware accelleration features.  You just need a 10Ghz system to 
play it full speed.

Yes, that's right:  no one can actually play it (and most any other CHD 
game) at this point.  MAME's not designed to be fast; it's meant to 
document hardware and produce pixel-perfect emulations, no matter what 
the speed cost.
