AdvanceMAME 0.98 - when?

I'm in the process of upgrading my cabinet (again), and romset, and I
just wanted to ask if there are any forecasts for when a 0.98 of
AdvanceMAME will be released?

If it is not just arround the corner, I think I will go with 0.97 for
now, but I would just hate to have everything upgraded to 0.97 and then
the next day find that 0.98 is released.

So, Andrea, if you could tell me if 0.98 is scheduled for release
anytime soon, I would be gracefull. And once again thanks for creating
the best MAME-port for arcade-monitors. AdvanceMAME rocks.
