Two AdvMenu Feature Requests

  Hello!

I'm just finishing my second MAME arcade and am using the latest
releases of AdvanceMAME and AdvanceMenu. Last night and today I
downloaded the 5.2 gigs worth of existing MNG & MP3 files created by
Crashtest (http://www.mameworld.net/icons/pages/mameicons.html).
These enhance the menus and the screensaver a great deal, but two
minor feature requests have occurred to me:

   1) Would it be possible to create a audio mute toggle input action
in AdvanceMENU? I'd like to be able to assign a single button on my
CP so I can switch the AdvanceMENU audio on and off. There might be
times that I don't want to hear the audio from the demo videos,
especially since scrolling quickly through the list can produce a
cacophony of bizarre sounds (since you're cutting things off the
instant they start). I might be able to rig something using command
execution to a script to toggle the mute of the ALSA audio mixer in
the underlying Linux box, but having this function built-in at the
application would be far more elegant and would prevent problems like
having the system audio muted and forgetting to unmute it before
launching a game, etc.

  2) Any chance of getting the game titles overlaid in the MNG videos
during screensaver mode like they are for snapshots? It's great
seeing the fullscreen videos during the screensaver instead of just a
slideshow of stills, but short of launching the game I'm seeing
demo'd right then and there to determine the title, I can't know what
I'm seeing without the labels.

Anyway - these are nitpicky things... but I suppose that's also
testament to AdvanceMAME and AdvanceMenu's overall power that only
little things end up on my list. ;)

Any thoughts from others on these topics?
  - Aaron
