That might work, however you should let Advancemame controll the
framebuffer itself , not via SDL, since it can't set its own modes via SDL.
The best way would be for Andrea to enable composite sync in
advv/advcfg/advmame.
Or you can alter your cable with some parts to make h+vsync=csync as
described in: http://www.sput.nl/hardware/tv-x.html
That way you can just set -hsync -vsync and it will become csync.
