Advice form the experts

  My arcade project is very near completion, fully
built but I am experiencing some problems with the
graphics and need some help from the experts.

  I am using Dmame in a pure Dos environment, My
arcade machine was originally a Konami Golfing greats
machine when I got it, bought and soldered the Jamma
harness, I have built the keyboard hack. My monitor is
a Hantarec MTC 9110 25".  And have buitl a video
amplifier from circuit found online.

  I am using a 700MHz Celeron, soundblaster live.

  My graphics problem is I have 2 cards that I feel
are suitable:
 a PCI ATI rage pro 8M, and a Geforce 4 MX 440 64M.
  However neither of these are currently displaying
correctly.

  The ATI shows a 1.5x horizontal rescan problem, and
the Geforce displays correctly but shows a noticeable
flicker, approx 10Hz?

  Can anyone advise me which card is best to use, and
maybe some help re configuring advmenu.rc?
