AdvanceCD need to be upgraded!

Hello guys,

This carnival I tried the latest AdvanceCD on my dad´s computer.
It´s a AMD Athlon XP +1700, with an ATI RAGE 128 AGP2X with 32 MB,
under a SOYO motherboard (via VT8363 chipset) with 512 MB of RAM.

So, AdvanceCD boots ok, but when I start to load a game, the advmenu 
freezes.

I think AdvanceCD is getting old. It need to be upgraded to the kernel 
2.6.xx to support more features.
I would like to try the AdvanceCD source to generate a new distro, but it 
only supports a 2.4.xx kernel.

Andrea, is very difficult to generate a new AdvanceCD distro based on 2.6.xx 
kernel? I would like to try!
Can you give me some help? If possible, I would like to maintain this 
utility with you.
