I removed the svgalib rpm and tried to do install from from source. This is the last few lines of what I got: /home/multicade/svgalib-1.9.24/kernel/svgalib_helper/main.c:699: error: too few arguments to function âclass_device_createâ make[3]: *** [/home/multicade/svgalib-1.9.24/kernel/svgalib_helper/main.o] Error 1 make[2]: *** [_module_/home/multicade/svgalib-1.9.24/kernel/svgalib_helper] Erro r 2 make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/kernels/2.6.16-1.2122_FC5-i686' make[1]: *** [default] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/multicade/svgalib-1.9.24/kernel/svgalib_helper ' make: *** [installmodule] Error 2 It appears that svgalib doesn't play well with an up to date RedHat Fedora system. What distribution are people using successfully with SVGA and advancemame? I am willing to re-install to get it to work. I would prefer to stick with any easy distribution such as Suse, Ubuntu, etc... Thanks again!!
