Re: Need help installing SVGAlib for use with AdvanceMAME on Redhat FC5

I installed svgalib-devel (via rpm) and successfully re-compiled advancemame
with svgalib support.  Woohoo!!

Now when running advmame (with device_video svgalib in my .rc file), I get:

advmame: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/local/lib/libvga.so.1:
cannot restore segment prot after reloc: Permission denied

Any further ideas?

I have tried advancecd, but I get stuck on 'Game Loading' after selecting a
game in advancemenu...
