RES: problem when doing a static-compile

Thanks for your help Nathan, but I´m having compilation problems, not
Advancemame setup.
 
I think there is a bug on the "configure" script, because the libasound.a
(static alsa library) isn´t detected for static compilation.
 
Somebody knows how to correct this? My AdvanceCD is already updated with the
lastest emulators and new alsa drivers. When finished, I´ll upload the
binaries and the source to someplace and share with you.

Hello dudes!
 
I need a good help to compile AdvanceMAME, AdvanceMENU and AdvanceMESS with
static libraries.
 
I installed all static libs under my mandriva 2007 powerpack. Also, I
updated my alsa driver and libraries to 1.0.13.
 
But when I run the "configure" script with the --enable-static, the script
don´t detect the libasound.a (alsa static library).
 
Somebody knows how to correct this? I´m doing a static compile to update my
AdvanceCD.
