If settings the clock doesn't work for you, then I suggest doing one of two
things:

- if you do have component input on your TV, then check over at
arcadecontrols.com for information on VGA to Component and go that way.
You'll be very satisfied I think.

- if your TV has S-video, you could try that. I haven't personally seen
decent results, but apparently others have. I've seen pictures of their
stuff, and though they look good, it really requires live viewing to tell
for sure.

If you really goofed it and your TV only has coaxial and composite, get rid
of it and get something newer with at least one of the above interfaces.
Look around on your local Craigslist. I've seen newer 27" flatscreen TVs
with at least S-vid and component (somtimes DVI, too) going for a around a
hundred. I don't think older, curved CRTs have component inputs....maybe
really large ones - ie: 32" and up.
