Is it specific to your video hardware, as opposed to vesafb? When I was trying it on Linux, I built the radeon fb driver into the kernel and made sure to remove vesafb. I was able to boot to an fb console on the multisync monitor, but everything was garbled on the TV. I tried a whole bunch of different kernel options in grub, but nothing worked. =20 Eventually I gave up on Linux (at least temporarily). Right now I'm just booting to DOS 6.22 because I was told that the DOS version of AdvMAME has all the required drivers built in. =20 But as I said, I don't think the problem has anything to do with the computer, OS, drivers, video card, or TV. I think the defaults inside advcfg are wrong. =20 -- Eric Robinson Director of Information Technology Physician Select Management, LLC 775.885.2211 x 111 =20 Disclaimer - November 5, 2008=20 This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and = intended solely for advancemame-users-5NWGOfrQmneRv+LV9MX5uti2KpX7p8Fi@public.gmane.org If you are = not the named addressee you should not disseminate, distribute, copy or = alter this email.
