Hi, I'm a developer of business software by day. I use Java, C, C++, C#, and VB dotNet mostly. My current project is writing a data entry application for the PocketPC 2003 platform. I was surprised at the amount the system has progressed in the last couple of years and now I think it is probably capable of running reasonably complex games. My main interest is to develop a couple of games (based on old Amiga titles) for the PocketPC and maybe Series60 mobile phones - all freeware/shareware stuff until I can get my skills up to a standard that allows me to build commercial quality titles. Hopefully some of the people who peruse this newsgroup can help me when I run into difficulties. I'll try my best to help others when the opportunities present themselves. I've also got a Playstation 2 Linux developer kit that I hope to develop some games for. It's pretty damn complex though, and I'm not a Linux-head, so the learning curve is doubly steep.
