installing lyntin-4.0beta1

I snagged a copy of the new 4.0 beta and attempted an install, but am
having problems..
after running: python2.2 ./setup.py install
i attempt to run: lyntin

what i get is this:

ImportError: cannot import name message

I assume that message is supposed to be a python module...but can find no
file  by that name. neither is there any reference to it in the python2.2
module index at python.org
might anyone have a guess as to what might be going on here? any wisdom
you can impart will be greatly appreciated.
