I'm not sure it's a bug, too. If it does not send the text 
to the mud (and it shouldn't to), then this behaviour is 
logical - you did not paste the text into the input line, 
right? It's output window, if I understand you right. The 
output is screwed a bit with that garbage text, but I 
would not call this situation "typical", when a user 
pastes some text where he shouldn't to.

I'll look into the code, whether I can do something with 
it. Don't expect it to be fixed right now, though - it 
seems this bug/feature/whatever is not critical.
