Tkui and Python 2.4, backspace problem

Hey,

I just upgraded to Python 2.4. At first glance, lyntin seemed to work
fine, but then I noticed something "mildly" annoying: backspace
doesn't work. It simply does nothing. I'm running Windows 2000. Tested
with Lyntin 4.1.1-release as well as current cvs-version. The problem
only appears under Tkui, backspace works with textui.

It seems likely that the problem came with Python 2.4, since here's
what I've done lately:

1) Lyntin (somewhat hacked cvs-version) on Python 2.3.4, everything works
2) I upgrade to Python 2.4
3) Lyntin (somewhat hacked cvs-version) on Python 2.4, backspace doesn't work
4) Lyntin (cvs-version, as well as pure 4.1.1) on Python 2.4,
backspace doesn't work

Can anyone confirm this behaviour, or should I blame myself for a
botched upgrade?
