Here is the answer I've put in my FAQ, but since I always play on a
monochrome screen, I'm at a definite disadvantage. The truth is that
this is just a guess. Would you good players review this and fix any
mistakes?
My FAQ is in this group's Files section. I'd like it to be a good
FAQ, so I'd appreciate it if you could review it and offer fixes and
suggestions, just emailed directly to me.
Here's my current question from the FAQ:
What do the different colors mean on the Spending screen?
A blue bar for a planet (black on a monochrome screen) means you are
spending money mining, but not for terraforming. A green bar (light
gray on monochrome) means that you are spending money for both mining
and terraforming. A negative number (a number in parenthases) instead
of a bar means that you are done terraforming and mining but the
planet is not yet profitable because there aren't enough inhabitants
yet. A positive number (no parenthases) means that you are done
terraforming and profitable.
If the planet name is is blue, that planet is profitable. If the
planet name is red, the planet isn't. The planet name that is
underlined is the currently selected planet on the Galaxy screen.
Also, pressing the up and down keys while on the Galaxy screen
scrolls through the planets in the order that they are listed in the
Spending screen.
Thanks
