It's very hard, and to be honest, I think a lot of it has to do with luck. If you don't have a good starting position it's almost impossible. Find a good planet or two and make it profitable in a hurry. Don't colonize anything else until they have population booms. While you're doing this try and expand enough to corner and defend some metal-rich planets (without colonizing them). If I can't manage a setup like this farily quickly in a game I'll often give up. It's pretty demoralizing when your 15 7/4 satelites get hit by 25 10/8 fighters. -e --- frenchie404 <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi, > > I have been playing (nearly non-stop) this fantastic game for 3 > weeks now and I reached the rank of Gunfighter. > I keep playing a 102 difficulty game (Ring shape, smallest and > densiest universe, 8 bad guys based on IQ, advanced home system) > because it's the max I can win. > It's still a very difficult and challenging game and my winning > ratio is 1 every 3 or 4 games. > I wonder how you can beat the computer with a outpost home system > (the bad guys are so way ahead of you in everything that you can > never catch up with them). > If anybody have good tips or strategy for me, they are welcome... > > > > > > > Yahoo!
